Narrative History of Palliative Care in Kazakhstan
The first round-the-table discussion dedicated to the problems of palliative/hospice care development in Kazakhstan took place in Almaty in 2003. Representatives of Kazakhstani, Russian, and Polish hospices, Kazakhstani Public Health Ministry, World Health Organization, international charitable organizations, and chief doctors of hospitals took part.²²
