Rwanda

Rwanda (population 7.95 million people) is a country in Central Africa that covers an area of 26,338 square kilometres. Its boundaries border Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Tanzania, and Burundi. The capital of Rwanda is Kigali.

According to the United Nations human development index (HDI), Rwanda is ranked 159/177 countries worldwide (value 0.431)1 and 27/45 African countries for which an index is available. This places Rwanda in the group of countries with low human development.
