In 2004, with the support of the Open Society Institute, the Group of Assistance in the Development of Palliative Care in Tajikistan was established, with the aim of establishing the true status of palliative care in the country. However, Surayo Mirzoeva also highlights the need to create an Association of Palliative Care in Tajikistan.¹⁰
