Hospice Africa Uganda: the staff list for 2003-2004 details 107 staff. This includes 18 staff in the Mobile Hospice Mbarara team and 7 staff at Little Hospice Hoima. In March 2003, 88 of these were permanently employed members of staff.⁴³

JoyHospice: 1 medical director; 1 clerical officer; 4 enrolled nurses; 1 trainee nurse.

Palliative Care Unit: Lira Regional Referral Hospital: staffed by 2 nurses.

The Mildmay Centre: in November 2003, 127 people were employed (123 Ugandans).⁴⁴
