Mother of Mercy Hospice. The services here are provided by: 1 administrative director (usually Sisters of St. Charles); 2 part time doctors; 1 full time clinical officer; 2 full time nurses; 1 part time nurse; 17 paid caregivers; 56 volunteer caregivers; 2 counsellors who provide VCT and couples counselling, ARV, nutritional and grief counselling.
In the last year a team of 4 social workers have been encouraged to address public health issues, monitor patient wellness, monitor circumstances of orphans, and create education and awareness programmes for patients, staff and communities.
Other staff include a receptionist, 3 programme co-ordinators, 4 teachers, ground staff, watchmen and cooks.
Jon Hospice. 1 part time volunteer doctor; 1 part time chaplain. All other staff are full time: 1 palliative care trained clinical officer; 3 nurses; 6 auxiliary nurses; 1 social worker; 3 counsellors; 1 administrative assistant; 1 co-ordinator (care and support); 1 manager; 1 driver; 1 international volunteer nurse; 10 volunteers; trained by the diocese from the local community who do cleaning and spiritual care
Staffing at the day care centre/school: 1 teacher full time; 1 teacher part time; 1 social worker; 1 co-ordinator; 1 international volunteer music therapist; 1 cook.
Ranchhod House. 1 manager (for both drop-in centre and in-patient unit); 4 nurses working in rotation; 1 clinical officer; 2 counsellors; 1 cook; 7 volunteers work in the hospice; 3 volunteers work in the day care centre.All staff and volunteers work full time (40 hour week). Volunteers are remunerated with food, a monthly allowance, uniform, bicycle, washing powder and healthcare.
Our Lady’s Hospice. Two doctors sit on the Board and are available for consultations.

Cicetekelo Hospice ( Ndola Hospice). There are 35 paid staff, including a doctor, nurses and caregivers, financial support staff and drivers. There are 37 volunteer caregivers and 38 community volunteers; all volunteers are trained by the hospice.
