Project on Death in America
The Project on Death in America (PDIA) was established in 1994 and has played a prominent part in end of life care innovation in the United States. Its aims are to transform the culture and experience of dying and bereavement by fostering innovations in the provision of care, public education, professional education, and public policy.

The PDIA also support work with palliative care programs in Eastern and Central Europe. David Clark is working closely with PDIA staff, board members and key stakeholders to produce their history, a ‘document of record’ recording a decade of PDIA activity. The project will produce a publication covering PDIA work over a decade of its existence; a CD ROM; and a web exhibition.
